The RIBA offers a comprehensive range of AV services. Our permanently sited team can advise you on staging, lighting and all areas of technical support, ensuring that you and your guests leave the RIBA dazzled by the presentation of your event. Also featured is a wealth of built in communications services including Video conferencing, ISDN, Broadband and Wi-Fi in selected areas.
We have invested heavily in the latest audio-visual equipment to make sure we can meet the requirements for your meeting. We are constantly upgrading and reviewing our equipment and actively research the industry to keep abreast of new and exciting technology. Our team will happily liaise with and consult you in the build up to your event to ensure we can cater for any special requests and to keep your planning as stress-free as possible.
Please note that with the exception of personal computers, we do not allow clients to bring in their own audio-visual equipment, unless otherwise agreed prior to the event. Our equipment has been supplied and configured to work in all the different sizes of rooms and with all of the seating arrangements. It has been Portable Appliance Tested to ensure its safety; we always carry spares in-house and we know our equipment well enough to provide full support.
As our team is always on-site, you can feel comfortable in the knowledge that we provide fast and efficient support before and during your event. For out of hours support, our technicians are available for an extra charge. Please contact us for details.

Please note that we only hire AV equipment for meetings within 66 Portland Place. For any other AV requirements not listed above, please contact our technical team RIBA Venues|.
Note - Jarvis Hall
When hiring the Jarvis Hall, one of our in-house technical operators is included in the hire charge of the hall (with the exception of evenings and weekends where a charge is incurred), as is the use of required amplification equipment and dedicated induction loop.
In all other circumstances, the hire of AV equipment is additional to the room hire charges, and is subject to VAT at 15.5%.
