RIBA Branch, Chapter, and Regional elections
RIBA Branch and Chapter elections are held bi-annually during January, February and March. Regional Elections are held bi-annually during October and November. RIBA will sometimes hold Branch, Chapter, and Regional elections outside of this period if required to do so.
We will publish a notice of election for all Branch, Chapter, and Regional elections on this page when required and will email all members within the Branch, Chapter, or Region where the election will be held.

Candidates nominated themselves by submitting nomination papers by the deadline published in this notice. The elements required to complete a nomination form are in the Branch, Chapter and Regional Elections Guidance Notes.
Online elections
RIBA has a commitment to sustainability and using resources effectively and efficiently. In line with this, the entire election process is conducted online.
