​​Bespoke Access Award

The Bespoke Access Awards 2017/18 was an international design competition which sought original ideas to improve access and provide an enhanced experience for hotel guests, particularly for those with disabilities.

Open Culture and Leisure

The scope of the competition was wide-ranging. Seeking to identify and reward the best innovative ideas from the fields of architecture and interior design, product design and service design.

The Leonard Cheshire Award for Inclusive Employment 'in order to consider those that work within the hotel environment'.

The competition was international and open to everybody. Individuals, groups and design professionals of any age were all eligible. The organisers of the competition welcomed particularly entries from designers and architects with disabilities. Entries will be assessed anonymously.

A prize fund of GBP £30,000 was available for award at the discretion of the Judging Panel, the winner of each category received £2,000 with the overall winner to be awarded the Celia Thomas Prize, receiving an additional £20,000.
