The Royal Institute of British Architects will be attending Cityscape Global in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 11 to 14 November 2024.
This year, we are delighted to announce that we are sending a delegation to Cityscape Global, the world’s largest exhibition for real estate and urban development. Based on a dedicated stand in prime location, we will host RIBA-accredited Chartered Practices and members of the RIBA CPD Providers Network, showcasing their innovative work and expertise.
Our delegation, led by RIBA Chief Executive Dr Valerie Vaughan-Dick MBE, includes a dedicated staff team covering RIBA Products and Services and Membership Experience. They will be on hand to support our delegates in networking with colleagues and clients and to provide guidance and learning opportunities about working in KSA through a series of familiarisation events. The Government’s Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is providing advice, offering on-the-ground support to facilitate the visit, and helping to identify opportunities for RIBA members to network and grow their contacts in KSA.
Our showcase will feature compelling case studies highlighting design innovation, as well as our products and services that seamlessly support excellence in the design and procurement process. From prestigious RIBA competitions to coveted RIBA Awards, we’ll present the full spectrum of offerings.
The RIBA delegation will promote the value of working with RIBA architects, particularly in the context of delivering excellence in design to create a sustainable future, and advocate the importance of diversity and inclusion in architecture and the built environment. With our partners at DBT, we will be holding a round table event with leading client bodies and developers and RIBA members to discuss and exchange ideas about the urban transformation taking place in Saudi.
We will highlight the client benefits of working with RIBA Chartered Practices and promote the value of RIBA Chartered Practice membership and the CPD Providers Network to architects and businesses in the built environment.
