Take part in our social media competition inspired by our Disappear Here exhibition. Over the next three months, we will be running three competitions based on perspective-based themes.

Theme #1: Looking Up - Now ended

Get a different perspective on the built environment around you and submit your creative entries for our first theme ‘Looking Up’ to be in with a chance of winning a Meccano model set.

Theme #2: Horizons - Now ended

Our second theme of the contest focuses on 'Horizons'. Explore your local landscape and capture your best horizons, skylines and vanishing points in any medium, to be in with a chance of bagging some special Sam Jacob Studio merchandise.

Theme #3: Optical Illusion - Now ended

The third and final theme of the contest, developed with RIBA Learning, looks at the theme of optical illusion.

Tricks of the light? Buildings out of scale? Unusual reflections? Use colour, light and shapes (and buildings of course!) to create your best photo, drawing, sketch or collage to win a copy of Matthew Rice's Language of Buildings, a perfect intro to architecture for all ages.

The winning participant of the third theme will receive a copy of Matthew Rice's Language of Buildings, courtesy of Bloomsbury Publishing, along with a RIBA tote bag, plus their winning image shared across our social media channels to over 250K followers.
