What differentiates you from other architects?
We approach every project with pride and creativity. We believe in the power of teamwork to exceed expectations and to provide clients with well-considered, rational and beautiful schemes, embracing a hands-on and experimental approach, regardless of scale or complexity.
Our reputation is developing after a successful few years. Winning the RIBA Rising Star, Architects Journal - Large Resi Development of the Year, and three BHB Awards including Residential Development of the Year, we are making our mark as a cutting-edge and creative practice.
Why do clients come to you, what value to you create?
We listen to the clients’ needs and respond enthusiastically with dynamic, innovative designs. We have a proven track record and experience across different scales and sectors, consistently delivering beyond our clients’ expectations.
We develop a key design brief linked to strategic deliverables for the project which ensures continuity and consistency, forming a synergy between architectural quality and commercial viability. We are committed to learning, to bettering our service, building a portfolio of creative work that adds value at every RIBA stage, and establishing strong working relationships with our clients.
What are you most proud of over the last year?
Our workload is increasing all the time. We are kept busy, fuelled by professional referrals and clients returning with larger and multiple projects. One of our strengths is the ability to strike close professional relationships quickly, often on challenging, but always rewarding projects.
With a growing team we have successfully built a significant amount of new and refurbishment lead projects within a relatively short time frame while maintaining and developing our design ethos, values, and vision as a studio.
Wider sector work is very interesting, with our £30m healthcare scheme and a number of £50m+ Industrial projects, we are building on our core cultural and residential build experience, honing our approach to net zero across everything we do. Further Passivhaus accreditation and conservation architecture registration underpins our contemporary approach.
Our completed five landscape set pavilions, providing 154 new social homes picked up 8 industry awards this year. Whilst we completed 70,000sqft office conversion fronting Leicester Square that reduced embodied and operation carbon by 50%, which is exceptional for this sector.
What is your MIPIM 2024 focus and items on the horizon?
We understand the intricate, multi-level information requirements for large-scale projects. As a dynamic and enthusiastic practice, we add a unique creativity and value, regardless of the complexity, and are focused on working with Clients who are both excited about delivering schemes and who enjoy an engaging development process.
We successfully strike the balance between reliability and enthusiasm, allowing us to work on exciting and innovative projects, often varying considerably in scale and type. Topping out on one of our tower projects will be an enormous achievement and seeing the London skyline from that height on a building that we have contributed too is very special.
