Recording your CPD

Recording your CPD on RIBA's dedicated platform is an obligation. It allows you to demonstrate your competence and professionalism, in order to maintain your chartered status. We regularly audit records to check compliance.

How to record your CPD

Log into My Account and select your name on the left hand side navigation bar to start.

Click onto Add/edit CPD activity to start adding to your record.

To see a picture of your progress, click onto My CPD dashboard. You can download a picture of your progress dashboard as a PDF document, and your CPD records as spreadsheets.

Improvements from old platform

In 2019, we made some changes to our CPD recording platform to improve your user experience and make recording CPD easier for you.

The platform is easier to use than the old version, and it visualises your overall progress with helpful charts and graphs.

The platform is also mobile friendly, which means that you can record your activities on the go: at the end of a CPD session, on your commute, or wherever and whenever is convenient for you.

The average time spent on a page is 1 minute 33 seconds, which indicates just how easy it is to record your CPD.
