Voysey designs
This drawer contains a drawing for CFA Voysey's enduringly popular Alice in Wonderland textile pattern, manufactured by Morton Sundour Fabrics Ltd and inspired by John Tenniel's drawings and the rise of interest in children's illustrations.
Alongside the textile design is a stained glass which, according to the inscription on the back, represents a symbol of self sacrifice and was gifted by Voysey to his first grandchild, Elizabeth.
