The Royal Institute of British Architects is delighted to announce that for the first time, architects based outside the UK are now able to join the RIBA Chartered Practice accreditation scheme.

RIBA Chartered Practices are the only architectural practices endorsed and promoted by the Royal Institute of British Architects, through commitments to quality assurance, business management and client service.

The Royal Institute of British Architects is recognised globally as driving excellence in architecture and RIBA Chartered Practice membership will allow your practice to:

Communicate your status as a leader of the highest standards of professional, ethics and best practice in the profession, by:

  • using the RIBA Chartered Practice logo on your website, business cards or drawings
  • promoting your company as a RIBA Chartered Practice

Am I eligible?

To become an RIBA Chartered Practice, your office must meet the following criteria. If registering more than one office, each one will need to demonstrate and declare that:

  • at least one in eight staff employed in your practice must be a RIBA Chartered Member
