Earthquake in Turkey and Syria – latest guidance

We are following news of the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria with great concern and have contacted our members based there to offer support.

What can practices do?

We know that many RIBA Members and practices would like to support the disaster response.

Those wishing to support the humanitarian relief effort can donate to UN Crisis Relief, which is playing a major role in Turkey and Syria.

The UK Built Environment Advisory Group was created as a conduit to share built environment expertise around the world. Created in 2016, it is a collaboration between the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Royal Town Planning Institute, the Institution of Structural Engineers, and the Landscape Institute. It works with humanitarian and development agencies on a not-for-profit basis.
