On 13 September, RIBA hosted their Powered by RIBA panel discussion at the Cityscape Conference Egypt 2022, held at the Four Seasons Nile Plaza, Cairo. The panel discussion focused on the central theme of sustainability and the built environment.
This year's conference theme was Egypt: At the forefront of change. As Egypt prepares to host COP27 in November, the Cityscape Egypt Conference jumpstarted the sustainability conversations that will take place in the following months. The conference featured key members of the sector from the MENA area who sought to discuss governmental rules and policies, Egypt's green tech objectives with the hyperLoop, and design guidelines for greener buildings.
