The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) is welcoming nominations for the 2020 Annie Spink Award for Excellence in Architectural Education.
The biennial award celebrates an individual or group that has made an outstanding contribution to architectural education over a significant period.
It was bequeathed by architect and RIBA Fellow Herbert Spink, in memory of his late wife Annie Spink (1868-1938).
RIBA President Alan Jones said:
“Excellence in architectural education is vital for the future of our profession, and this award has a pedigree of identifying and rewarding some of the best educators in the field. We are very grateful to the Annie Spink Trust Fund for its support and encourage everyone who has studied architecture as part of a RIBA-validated course to make their nominations.”
The Annie Spink Award is open to individuals or groups teaching in schools that offer RIBA validated courses, in the UK or internationally.
The deadline for nominations is 5pm on Friday 9 October 2020.
