The longstanding partnership between RIBA and AIA remains fundamental to our work to support professional growth and the development of our members worldwide.
The renewed partnership reflects the strong history of cooperation between RIBA and AIA in our work to champion the highest standards in architecture globally, foster collaboration, and support architects wherever they are in the world.
It will see us share knowledge and resources; and work towards measures to simplify practice, such as the standardisation of architectural contracts.
We will also continue to recognise each other as education providers, providing access to RIBA’s CPD Providers Network and Roadshow events as well as AIA’s Professional Provider subscription.
On the renewal of the partnership, RIBA Chief Executive, Dr Valerie Vaughan-Dick said:
“This is a critical partnership for RIBA and marks a successful start to COP28. The AIA shares many of our own priorities, not least promoting sustainable design and supporting a diverse, equitable and inclusive profession.
This longstanding agreement is a testament to the fact that collaboration remains key to addressing our challenges. Together we will work to deliver a fairer, sustainable built environment.”
AIA EVP/Chief Executive Officer, Lakisha Ann Woods said:
“AIA is looking forward to our continued cooperation with the RIBA. To create a stronger, more resilient, and equitable world, architects will need to work together, and our relationship will serve to both foster and reflect this collaboration amongst our esteemed members.”
