Join us to learn about architecture and develop new practical skills in drawing, bookbinding, photography and model-making.

Off the Scale: Modelling Masterclass

Join illustrator and model maker Sebastian Harding for our popular model-making masterclass at the RIBA. Over 2 days you take a guided tour to view the eclectic architecture of the local area, see gems from our world-class architecture collection, hear from our expert curators and learn how to create stunning and intricate 3D architectural models.
Summer School: Artistic Responses to Architecture

Immerse yourself in creative practice in this week-long creative summer school, in collaboration with the British Library. With guidance from a range of experts you’ll develop a wide range of artistic skills including bookbinding, photography, architectural drawing and architectural model making, and gain unparalleled access to the collections and spaces of both the RIBA and British Library.
Architecture Photo Walk: University of London

Explore the layers and diversity of London’s architecture and hear about the architectural trends of the University of London’s Bloomsbury Campus. Join us to view the RIBA’s exceptional architecture Collections and learn about different architectural styles, before heading offsite to capture some of London’s finest architecture from the 1830s to the present.
Architectural Drawing Masterclass: Georgian and Post-War
Saturday 17 August and Sunday 18 August
Be inspired by the interiors of the Wallace Collection and the architectural collections of RIBA to develop new creative drawing skills. Over two days you will explore the architecture of Marylebone and Fitrovia, gain more in-depth understanding of the capital’s architecture and draw using a range of media, from traditional paper-based techniques, to experimenting with contemporary digital drawing.
