A social housing scheme in Essex and an eco community centre in Cambridgeshire are among twelve buildings to win one of this year's RIBA East Awards.

A Buddhist Retreat Centre in the heart of the Suffolk countryside and a local authority’s first housing development on the outskirts of Norwich are among a record seventeen winning buildings.

RIBA East has shortlisted 25 projects for this year’s Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Regional Awards, the most ever to reach the second stage of judging.

RIBA Student Awards for the Eastern Region have recently been presented to four architectural students, from the University of Cambridge, Norwich University of the Arts, Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford, and the University of Hertfordshire.
