Inclusion Transparency Report

In our third annual Inclusion Transparency Report, we reflect on our EDI progress to date, our evolving strategy, and our goals for the future.

RIBA Director of Inclusion and Diversity Robbie Turner said:

“The architecture profession has work to do to reduce inequalities. RIBA recognises its unique and crucial role in driving positive change, to improve the built environment for everyone. Through examining our policies and processes, and by equipping colleagues and teams with the skills and knowledge they need to practise inclusive behaviours, we aim to break down barriers wherever they exist.

Here, in our third Inclusion Transparency Report, covering the period from April 2022 to March 2023, we share our progress and hold ourselves accountable. This report provides members and stakeholders with an update on our EDI activities, which in this period focused on data, education and RIBA Communities staff networks.

The format of our EDI reporting is currently under review. We anticipate that the next iteration will report on progress made throughout the 2023 calendar year, aligning with our Annual Report.”
