Join us for an afternoon of constructive conversations with industry experts and professionals on the challenges to racial equity facing the built environment sector. We’ll also be shining a light on success stories, and sharing what you can do to help create an equitable, inclusive culture.
Companies across industries are focused on the ‘war for talent’ and are increasingly depending on the next generation to diversify professions. However, professionals from different ethnic minority groups and in various stages of their career continue to face challenges in real time, from experiencing discrimination to encountering bias and inequitable practices and access to opportunities. Together, we look at how can organisations welcome diverse talent and retain it through cultural transformation.
Hosted at The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) headquarters, this event will explore practical, meaningful actions individuals and organisations can take to promote racial equity in the built environment.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) partners at Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Landscape Institute, Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) are proud to present this event.
