In celebration of the 2021 Stirling Prize shortlist, we are delighted to announce our next in-person Building Stories talk at 66 Portland Place.
Focusing on Clerkenwell Close – our vibrant expert panel will bring the story of this award-winning project to life.
Architect Amin Taha (GROUPWORK), structural engineer Steve Webb (Webb Yates), and creative director Pierre Bidaud (The Stonemasonry Company Ltd) will be joined by host and RIBA President Simon Allford (AHMM).
15 Clerkenwell Close is a limestone apartment and office building, that sits within the all but vanished boundaries of a circa 11th century Norman abbey. It is brave, ambitious, highly innovative, and bespoke building, where risks have been taken and have paid off, resulting in a truly imaginative, intriguing, and astonishing work of architecture.
Come and join us for a drink beforehand, as we open up 66 Portland Place and celebrate award-winning architecture in person.
