Special guests Mark Dawson (Reiach and Hall Architects), Gordon Berry (College Estates Development Manager, Forth Valley) and Katie McLaren (Student, Painting and Decorating) join us for this lunchtime talk – part of a series celebrating RIBA award-winning buildings.

Hosted by former Head of RIBA Awards Tony Chapman, the panel will be sharing the story behind the final building in a decade long redefinition of the college’s campus and Stirling shortlist Forth Valley College - followed by a live interactive Q&A session.

Forth Valley College by Reiach and Hall Architects - Replacing a 1960s building that had reached the end of its useful life on the site adjacent, the new campus buildings hark back to the architecture of the era with long, low slung elevations, intentionally nodding to both the setting and the evolution of Reich and Hall as a practice. Internally, the building is organised in a grid with courtyards, streets, open learning spaces, and closed classrooms mingling together to create a vibrant learning environment. The project won a 2022 RIAS Award and RIBA National Award.
