Special guests founding director Ben Addy (Moxon Architects), metal and wood joiner Craig Monteith (The Crooked Shed) and manager Caitlin Donald (Tàrmachan Café) join us for this lunchtime talk – part of a series celebrating RIBA award-winning buildings.

Hosted by Neil Gillespie (Reiach and Hall Architects), the panel will be sharing the story behind Scotland’s best building of 2022 Quarry Studios - followed by a live interactive Q&A session.

Quarry Studios by Moxon Architects - The architects’ own office is a low-lying building sited in a former quarry, surrounded by a heavily wooded Site of Special Scientific Interest in the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands. The principal studio and café buildings represent the private and public aspects of practice: encouraging collaboration and concentration and is a response to the growth of the practice in recent years. The project won a 2022 RIAS Award and RIBA National Award.
