Celebrating Excellent Black Architects

Curated by award-winning Simone de Gale Architects, Celebrating Excellent Black Architects showcases the successes of a number of black architects from across the world.

As part of upcoming RIBA President Ben Derbyshire’s inauguration activities, 'Celebrating Excellent Black Architects' will be exhibiting at RIBA from the 14 to 17 September.

Curated by award-winning Simone de Gale Architects, the exhibition showcases the successes of a number of black architects from across the world, including Phil Freelon and Elsie Owusu OBE, through interview, images and audio.

The exhibition was originally launched in June as part of London Festival of Architecture at New London Architecture’s headquarters, and has recently been exhibited at the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust.
