About Paul Fielding and Daniel Potts

Paul Fielding, Lovelock Mitchell Architects: Paul is an architect interested in themes of facade, perception, and storytelling. Originally from the North West, he spent many years in London with internationally-renowned firms including Eric Parry and WilkinsonEyre, known for their bold yet considered approach to historic buildings.

As an associate at Lovelock Mitchell, he looks after the creative direction of projects and has recently been helping to document and map the prolific influence of the firm’s founder, Thomas M. Lockwood – creator of Victorian Chester.

Daniel Potts, Donald Insall Associates and Chester Rows Heritage Action Zone: Daniel is an experienced architect, who has a keen understanding of both modern and traditional methods of construction and design.

His passion lies with the preservation of our heritage through appropriate conservation, restoration and sensitive adaptions that add value and contemporise cultural expression. This has only intensified following his involvement in several significant projects ranging from Wentworth Woodhouse, Chester Cathedral and The Abbey School for Exceptional Children in Chester.
