Explore, create, and display architecture - A display in the RIBA Library

A display of the RIBA's recent community outreach project featuring the work of older people inspired by the RIBA Collections and Radical Rooms exhibition.

This display of drawings, models and photographs in the RIBA Library is made up of the work created recently at the RIBA by older people and members of community groups Open Age and Opening Doors London. Their work was inspired by architecture, the RIBA Collections, the RIBA's Radical Rooms exhibition and, most of all, by the memories and knowledge of the participants themselves.

With guidance from artists Jitesh Patel, Colleen Laurent, and Wilson Yau, participants demonstrated that creativity happens at any age, as they embraced the use of traditional media and new technology to make art. The display includes their work in media such as model making, digital iPad drawings, and 3D drawing pens.

The display can be visited during the RIBA Library's opening hours, Monday to Friday.

Entry is free and there is no need to book. Please bring a form of suitable ID for entry to the RIBA Library.
