Exploring Architecture: soap carving

Join us and be inspired by the carvings of 66 Portland Place in London before create your own masterpiece carving in the versatile medium of soap. For ages 55 and over.

Join us and be inspired by the carvings of 66 Portland Place, the beautiful London headquarters of the Royal Institute of British Architects.

A short tour of highlights of the reliefs and carvings of the building will culminate in a chance to have a go at carving in the versatile medium of soap.

This event is for anyone aged 55 or over who has an interest in discovering more about architecture, with a chance for discussion and refreshments in the Clore Learning Centre.

Exploring Architecture is a monthly free event at 66 Portland Place, usually on the first of the month based in the Clore Learning Centre. Each month will take a different format, including tours, creative activities and special insights into the RIBA Collections with an opportunity to socialise.
