RIBA members are invited to attend an International Conference on Modular Integrated Construction (MiC): Innovating Higher, in Hong Kong, where RIBA President, Ben Derbyshire will deliver a talk on volumetric modular building.
Jointly organised by the University of Hong Kong Centre for Innovation in Construction and Infrastructure Development and the Hong Kong Real Property Federation, this conference aims to share state-of-the-art knowledge and practice of high-rise modular buildings to the construction industry and community in Hong Kong. The conference will feature internationally renowned experts in modular construction from governments, industries and academia in the UK, Canada, Singapore, Australia, China, and Hong Kong. They will be sharing insights on advanced structural engineering, smart supply chain management, and digital transformation.
