Introduction to architectural drawing and model making

Learn how to master some of the fundamentals of architectural drawing and model making, inspired by the architecture collections and buildings of the Royal Institute of British Architects and the British Library.

Learn how to master some of the fundamentals of architectural drawing and model making by exploring perspective, space, line, light, and shadow to create your own realistic drawings through observation.

Looking at scale and form, you will develop your design and craft skills to create your own models. Over two days you will be led by artist and educator Wilson Yau through a range of practical exercises, whilst having access to the archives and behind the scenes tours to power your creativity.

This course takes place at RIBA, 66 Portland Place, W1B 1NT on Saturday, and the British Library, 96 Euston Road, NW1 2DB, on Sunday.

If you have any accessibility requirements please email adultlearning@bl.uk as soon as you have booked your ticket.
