Join us for the second event in the Architecture Anew talk series bringing people together to discuss new ideas about the role of architecture in designing a more sustainable future.

Have we been too quick to focus on the promise of new technologies and "smart cities" in facing the challenges arising from climate change? What are some of the different ways that we can incorporate technologies based on nature? This event will bring together an interdisciplinary panel of practitioners committed to working creatively with natural local materials such as thatch, rammed earth, timber, and hemp.

Through short presentations and discussion, this event will explore how low-tech ecological solutions based on traditional techniques could lead us closer to designing a more sustainable future.
