Are you looking to work internationally?
Seeking overseas business is becoming more attractive than ever and is a logical strategy for many firms, particularly in an increasingly challenging domestic market. After Brexit, the UK will have a different relationship with the EU that will impact the way that the architecture sector works.
UK architects have a world leading reputation which can be promoted in overseas markets to help UK practices to expand and grow.
To help RIBA members to export overseas and assess their international readiness, we are partnering with the UK Department of International Trade (DIT) to deliver a free webinar on potential business opportunities in five key markets:
- United Arab Emirates
- Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- Singapore and ASEAN
- China
- Australia and New Zealand
The Department for International Trade (DIT) helps businesses export and grow into global markets by providing tailored support and advice on how to start exporting or increase projects and clients overseas.
The seminar will give an overview of services available from DIT as well as market specific insight from DIT trade advisors in country.
We are delighted that Minister for Trade, Greg Hands MP will share a short video and that Alan Vallance, RIBA CEO will join to give the opening words. We will also be launching our latest case studies on UK architecture abroad, produced by RIBA Policy and Public affairs team with a short case study from Martin Knight of Knight Architects on the Lower Hatea River Crossing Whangarei, New Zealand.
