Sustainable development insights with DMU, RIBA, and PPP

Pop down to this collaborative event to find out more about sustainability in the built environment and discuss actions you and your business can take to mitigate the climate crisis.

To tie in with COP29 DeMontfort University, People, Planet, Pint, and the Royal Institute of British Architects are joining forces to deliver a networking event focussed on sustainability in the built environment. At this gathering, you'll hear from experts in sustainable design, and have all your carbon, biodiversity, energy efficiency, well-being, and innovation questions answered.

Informal and informative, this collaboration will be a chance to learn more about how you can ensure your built environment has a positive impact on the planet, while enjoying some nibbles and a drink with like-minded people.

As well as learning more about sustainable architectural practice, this event is a great place to start your journey to net zero, or continue learning and meet diverse people to chat about life and how we can sustain it. Every job is a climate job, so come along and learn about how you can take action, as well as what is going on locally to make positive climate impacts.

We welcome everyone, regardless of their experience or background, and everyone can feel comfortable learning about sustainability and sharing their ideas. After all, creating a sustainable future requires connected communities and what better way to bring everyone together than over refreshments?

You'll hear from and interact with a panel of experts

He is currently working on methods aimed at improving alignment between houses, contexts, climates, and energy performance. This has led to the development of research methodologies in the built environment and frameworks, together with prototypes for sustainable houses satisfying the social and cultural needs of the local community in the context of less developed countries.

Your People, Planet, Pint host, Richard Garner, is founder of Now or Never Ltd who educate, support and drive as many UK businesses as possible in taking sustainable, purpose led action that will benefit them, their stakeholders, their wider communities, and our planet.
