Senate House tour and talk

Senate House brings together student social and support services for the University of Bristol, acting as a front door to the university whilst addressing modern student study and support needs.

The design by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios is the imaginative reuse and reinvention of a 1960s administration building that occupies a prominent location on the University of Bristol campus. Now refurbished and re-purposed, it is a welcoming, student-centred heart to the university.

Senate House is a fine example of how an existing building can be successfully reimagined, with cleverly integrated new elements opening up the potential of unloved and underused spaces. The extensive retrofit has ensured that the building provides a welcoming and inspiring backdrop for current students to socialise, study and collaborate while allowing for future flexibility and modification.
