Leicestershire County Cricket Club (LCCC), the current champions of the One Day Cup, is embarking on a mission to revitalise an underutilised quadrant of their Grace Road ground. The aim is to transform it into a dynamic, community-centric event space that actively engages and resonates with the local community.
In partnership with our hosts, De Montfort University and Leicester School of Architecture (LSA), the RIBA East Midlands Education Group is thrilled to announce the 2024 design charette. The design charette has not occurred since 2022, making this year's edition particularly significant.
Who can participate
The design charette is open to Part 1 (Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3) RIBA Future Architects on a BA architecture course from any of the region's five RIBA-validated Schools of Architecture (SoA); University of Lincoln, University of Nottingham, Nottingham Trent University, Loughborough University, and De Montfort University, to seize this unique opportunity and respond to the design brief.
This design charette provides an exclusive chance for you to immerse yourself in a live client experience with LCCC.
Please note: Spaces are limited to 15 RIBA Future Architects per school, so don't miss out.
