Join us for an exclusive insight into one of the six buildings on this year's prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize shortlist: Nevill Holt Opera in Leicestershire. Chris Watson of Witherford Watson Mann Architects will give an illustrated talk about the building and the inspiration behind it. Witherford Watson Mann architects were recipients of the RIBA Stirling Prize in 2013, for Astley Castle in Warwickshire.
The RIBA Awards jury described Nevill Holt Opera as: “A project that looks effortless, yet we all know that this belies the truth. The modesty, craftsmanship, care and attention that have been applied here are exceptional.”
As part of this series of events showcasing 2019's RIBA Award winners, Leicester's LCB Depot will host a celebratory evening including drinks on arrival.
