RIBA International is delighted to announce the launch of the RIBA Europe chapter. This new chapter will serve a growing network of over 2,500 architects, 12 architecture schools and approximately 7,500 students.
This exciting event will feature a breakfast launch, networking opportunities, tours and a cocktail reception.

Breakfast and bellinis: RIBA Europe launch at La Biennale
10.30am to 12pm
Kindly supported by the British Council, the celebratory launch breakfast of the new chapter will take place in the British Pavillion in Venice. This is the first formal RIBA presence at the Biennale, now in its 19th series as one of the most prestigious cultural festivals in the world attracting up to 600,000 international visitors annually.
The private breakfast will include short speeches from RIBA President Muyiwa Oki; Sevra Davis, director of architecture, Design and Fashion at the British Council; and Waldemar Koehler, RIBA Councillor for Europe. The speeches will be followed by a tour of the exhibition spaces with Kabage Karanja, co-founder and director of Cave_bureau, RIBA Member based in Nairobi, Kenya.(TBC)
