Take part in this creative workshop exploring the fundamentals of Surrealist Art through your own interpretation. You will experiment during a series of practical art exercises, learning the concepts involved in this art movement along the way.
Suitable for complete beginners through to those who enjoy a regular creative practice, you'll be sure to have a fun evening filled with creativity and humour.
The workshop will take place in Anna FitzGerald's art studio in the heart of Exmouth Town. At the end of the evening you'll take home your own surreal artwork.
Simply bring your own refreshments, materials are included.
About Anna FitzGerald
Anna FitzGerald is an Exmouth based artist known for her expressive paintings depicting happiness and joy. As the first resident artist at Powderham Castle, Exeter, Anna has gone on to found various award-winning community projects that target hateful graffiti, racism, and bullying.
Alongside her art, Anna has created inclusive and accessible spaces for others, with projects providing art based jobs for people in Devon and supporting neurodivergent creatives. Currently, these projects include Exmouth Pottery, Sea Dog Art Gallery, High Tide Café, and Temple Bar.
