The RIBA Gulf Chapter present an open and fun online event where the audience is free to ask all sorts of questions to a panel of professionals, students, and members of the RIBA Gulf Chapter.
The first section focuses on the RIBA in general, particularly the role of the RIBA and the RIBA Gulf Chapter. Peter Jackson will provide a brief introduction to the history of the RIBA and the creation of the RIBA Gulf Chapter. The remainder of the section will then give a chance to the audience to ask any questions related to the RIBA and Peter Jackson himself.
The second section opens the discussion on architectural education in the Gulf, where the audience can ask academics, current students, and recent graduates questions regarding studying architecture, gaining internship placements, and personal experiences.
The third section focuses on working in the Gulf where the audience can ask various professionals questions regarding working in the region and tips on best practices.
The final section will then open the floor to the audience to ask any questions they wish, and any panel member can answer.
Section 1: RIBA General
A brief introduction will be given on the history of the RIBA and the RIBA Gulf Chapter. The audience can then ask questions related to the RIBA, RIBA Gulf Chapter, and gaining membership.
Section 2: Education
Here the audience can ask questions regarding studying Architecture in the Gulf, gaining internships, etc.
Section 3: Work in Practice
Following on from the previous section, the audience can ask questions regarding getting into architecture, client engagement and relationships, and best practice tips.
Section 4: Open Floor
The last section is an open Q/A session where the audience is free to ask random and fun questions to our panel members!
