You are invited to join in the fun as RIBA Young Architectural Practitioners Forum (YAPF) and Building Female come together to celebrate International Women’s Day.
YAPF are pleased to welcome Sarah Parry and Grace Ellinor, co-founders of Building Female, as special guests. As regeneration professionals with a deep passion for place and equitable practice, they will share their career experiences and insights from their important work with Building Female.
The YAPF is currently a predominantly female committee of architectural professionals dedicated to supporting early-career practitioners in the North East. In this collaborative event with Building Female, a Leeds-based platform focused on championing inclusivity and gender equity in the built environment, they are bringing together two strong female-led networks spanning Yorkshire and the North East with the shared goal to foster conversation, build meaningful connections, and celebrate the impact of women in shaping cities and places.
This event welcomes professionals from all disciplines across the built environment—architects, designers, planners, engineers, and beyond. Whether you're a student or an established professional, this is a great opportunity to socialise, exchange ideas, and engage in meaningful discussions within an inclusive and supportive space.
This event continues the conversation beyond International Women’s Day itself, celebrating interdisciplinary female voices in the industry throughout the month.
