J.E.D.I Talk: After the riots

Our next J.E.D.I talk addresses the 2024 UK riots, featuring insights from architects, academics and EDI experts.

After the Riots: Exploring how the profession can acknowledge the past, respond to continuing racism, and support inclusion going forwards. Join the conversation so we can openly explore the real impact that we can make towards becoming an inclusive society.

This session will be exploring how institutions can acknowledge the past, respond to the current flare up of racism in society, and support inclusion going forwards.

What can British institutions and influential organisations do to make a continual effort to understand and deconstruct the islamophobia, racism and other forms of discrimination that led to the violent unrest this summer?

This talk will provide a platform for critical reflection and proactive dialogue, encouraging participants to share their insights and strategies for change.

By addressing these pressing issues head-on, we hope to inspire a collective movement towards justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in all sectors of society.
