Join Lancashire Architects Society for a design charrette that explores creative and fun new ideas for developing key sites in Preston which have been overlooked or abandoned. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate, share expertise and contribute to reimagining the future of these forgotten spaces.
About the session
Open to architects and other built environment professionals, attendees will be split into teams at random to encourage cross-practice relationship building and exploration of ideas. Key sites will be identified and presented to the teams, who will then visualise their ideas using sketches and plasticine models. The groups will then present their ideas, with a judge selecting the winner.
This session will not only inspire innovation but will also provide a platform for networking and professional growth. By combining creativity and technical skills participants will have the chance to think outside the box and challenge conventional design approaches. Don't miss the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on Preston's urban landscape.

The event will take place in room HB145 at The Harris Building. If you have any special access requirements, or any other questions about attending, please contact riba.northwest@riba.org.
