RIBA Plymouth: Netwalk at Dartington

Walk and talk while making new connections out in nature.

Join your RIBA South West Regional Engagement Partner Nathalie to meet some of your local peers, share your experience of working as an architect in the South West, and get your fresh air fix while walking in this fantastic Devon landscape.

This event is open to all from the built environment, so do encourage your connections to come along too.

Our route on the Dartington Estate will take us for 2.25 miles, with the option to shorten as time allows or for group need. We will finish at The Green Table café for much deserved refreshments.

Instructions on where to meet will be emailed to you in advance, with a contact phone number for the day.

Why netwalk?

As you walk side by side with industry peers, conversations flow organically. The casual and open atmosphere allows for more authentic connections, transforming traditional networking into a dynamic and enjoyable experience.

The act of walking has been proven to boost creativity; walking isn't just a meeting, it's a catalyst for innovation.

Additional information

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for a mixture of terrain and bring a bottle of water to keep you hydrated along the way.

We will keep an eye on the weather that week. In the case of heavy rain or inclement conditions, the event will be cancelled with 24 hours notice and rescheduled for another date.

Accessibility

The walk follows a maintained footpath, which is wide enough for at least two people side by side. The route is mostly flat with only a slight incline towards the end.

There are blue badge parking spaces within the main car park and accessible toilet facilities.
