RIBA Singapore Chapter - Networking reception to celebrate World Architecture Festival

Join RIBA Singapore Chapter for an evening of drinks and canapés in celebration of the World Architecture Festival (WAF) at Marina Bay Sands.

The RIBA Singapore Chapter is holding a networking event at the Red Dot Singapore Design Museum MBS to celebrate WAF being in the city.

The Chapter will be honoured with your presence and for the opportunity to meet with fellow members and distinguished guests attending this year's WAF that include RIBA Past President Simon Allford and Jack Pringle, RIBA Past President and RIBA Chair of Board of Trustees, who will be there to give a short introductory welcome.

We hope that with a broad guest list, it will be an evening of insight, intrigue and curiosity as we connect, explore and look onwards to a conscious 'tomorrow', as is the theme of this year's WAF festival.

We look forward to welcoming you to this event and for the opportunity to connect with diverse professionals and inspiring minds attending this year's World Architecture Festival.

About WAF

Gain inspiration from the world's most innovative projects, participate in insightful seminars, and witness a live-judged awards programme unlike any other. It's the perfect opportunity to learn from the best, network with colleagues, and be at the forefront of architectural excellence.

This year's theme is 'Tomorrow'. How will architecture, urban design, landscape, and interiors be affected by the trends we see around us in respect of population movement, city growth, digital technology, AI, immersive environments, and cultural change? International speakers will be invited to reflect on the changes they see coming, and how this is being reflected in their own work and thinking.

The theme is inspired by the description of the architecture critic, Reyner Banham, as a ‘historian of the immediate future’; we hope to shed light on what we may currently only dimly see.
