Join us for the August RIBA South Conservation Group walking tour.
Following on from the January RIBA South Conservation talk on Southampton’s Heritage Asset Repair Programme, the team from Southampton City Council and Giles Pritchard from Pritchard Architecture will be giving a guided walking tour of the medieval areas of the city, showing the progress of some of the projects previously discussed.
We will be viewing the buildings and monuments that are part of the three-year plan of repairs to the city’s heritage areas, which includes access to the Weigh House and some of the city's vaults.
The tour will be followed by the opportunity for light refreshments, and networking, including the ability to spend more time with our guest speakers, Conservation Group Chairs, and the RIBA Regional Team.
