The RIBA Members' Sri Lanka Chapter is hosting an international conference, in collaboration with the American Institute of Architects International and the Italian Embassy of Sri Lanka, focusing on the theme - Architecture: a lasting impact.
The RIBA Sri Lanka International Conference will feature 12 "international starchitects" from around the world. The audience will consist of around 400 architects and other interested parties from Sri Lanka and the South and South East Asia region, including architects who are part of RIBA, the AIA, and the 21 ARCASIA countries.
Special guests in attendance include:
- His Excellency Ranil Wickremasinghe, the President of Sri Lanka
- Professor Maithree Wickremasinghe
- Former President, Chandrika Bandaranayake Kumaratunga
- Deputy British High Commissioner, Ms. Lisa Whanstall
- American Ambassador, Julie Chung, the Italian Ambassador and more
