RIBA Yorkshire NYSA: Texture in architecture

Join the North Yorkshire Society of Architects for their CPD seminar on texture in architecture

Join the North Yorkshire Society of Architects for their CPD seminar. This engaging session exploring texture's role in the built environment is open to architects, designers and industry professionals.

About the event

The Equitone - Texture in architecture CPD investigates the complex psychology underpinning our perceptions, exploring the foundations of texture in natural systems, and reviews some important textural milestones in architectural history. By taking a look at the latest developments in textural approaches to the facades of buildings, the presentation challenges our understanding and equips the viewer to take a new and more creative approach to deploying texture in their own work. This presentation will be delivered by Mike Lee, Area specification manager for Equitone and Etex Group.

Attendees will discover how creative use of texture can redefine architectural character. This is a great opportunity for professionals to network and gain inspiration.

Each ticket includes a tea/coffee and cake.

If you have any special access requirements, or any other questions about attending, please contact riba.yorkshire@riba.org
