Celebrating the role of Welsh architects.
For the third year running Pensaer is holding an architectural event for Wales Week London. As in 2023 they will be holding a host of events including an evening exhibition showcasing the work of Welsh architects, who have a link to the capital.
Through their originality, Welsh architects are influencing the physical form of this great city. Through their commitment to the profession, they are shaping policy and approaches towards development and regeneration.

Breakfast talk (CPD)
Around the theme of architecture and raft, our breakfast talk will explore the work of Welsh architects and artists, and how they work together. Starting with a 15 minute meet and greet at 10am. We will have five speakers, and a chair to organise discussion. Each speaker will present for up to 15 minutes.
There will then be a discussion between the chair and speakers, followed by a Q and A session from attendees.
The outcome of the event will be a better understanding around the topic, and an opportunity to share knowledge.

Afternoon workshop - Model making skills / vignettes
This will be a student engagement event, with a two hour workshop / sketch design output; preceding it will be a 15 minute brief, with a 45 minute review at the end. The output will be 3D sketch models, which will go into the evening exhibition.
NB: This is an invite only session.
Evening exhibition
Showcasing the work of Welsh architects and artists who have a link to the capital in main Florence Hall.
Taking place in the Florence Hall at RIBA's 66 Portland Place. We will also be joined by artists from First Of March, with an installation by Ruth Petersen.
- We will have a 10 minute introduction at 19:30.
- The introduction will include the launch of the RSAW manifesto.
- The evening is open to all.
About Wales Week
Running from 22 February to 6 March 2024, Wales Week London is the annual showcase of activities and events that celebrate and promote everything that is great about Wales. This is the opportunity for Welsh organisations to promote their products and services, and develop new London-based audiences, partnerships and connections.
