Join Sheffield Society of Architects and RIBA Yorkshire Small and Emerging Practice Group for a Christmas get together with fellow local architects on Thursday 14 December.

Sheffield Society of Architects and RIBA Yorkshire Small and Emerging Practice Group would like to invite you to the Cutlers' Hall tour and Christmas cheer event on Thursday 14 December. Come and join fellow local architects for a drink, a bite, and a little bit of CPD.

Begin the evening at 5pm at the Cutlers' Hall reception room with a glass and a canapé (or three) on arrival. This will be followed by a tour of the fantastic Grade II Neo Classical marvel, learning about its history and hearing some great stories along the way.

The tour will commence at 5.30pm and last for about 90 minutes, after which you can head to the bar for an end of 2023 catch-up.

About Cutlers' Hall

The Cutlers’ Company was established by a parliamentary Act of Incorporation in 1624. The company bought a piece of land on Church Street in 1638 and built their first hall.

The current hall - a Grade II listed building - was built on the same piece of land in 1832. This is regarded as one of the finest livery halls in the north of England.

From its beginnings in the early part of the 17th century, the Cutlers’ Company has played an integral role both in the expansion of the major local industries and in the growth of Sheffield.
