Ever wanted to design your own 'Transformers' house or create a bold, social media-worthy space that’s totally unique?

Join us for this creative architecture workshop where you will explore the incredible world of Cholets: colourful, one-of-a-kind mansions inspired by the cultures of Bolivia’s Aymara and Quechua people. These buildings are like nothing you have ever seen before, blending vibrant colours, striking designs, and deep cultural symbolism.

About the session

We will learn about Freddy Mamani, the Aymara designer famous for creating these eye-catching masterpieces.

Join architect Kathleen Lucas, fresh from her travels in Latin America to design your own multi-use building. We will work on combining your favourite symbols and icons to bring your dream space to life, in the form of a home, venue, and kiosk inspired by the traditional Cholets of El Alto, the highest city in the world.

Whether you’re into architecture or just love cool design, this is your chance to create something bright, unique, and amazing.

This creative architecture workshop is led by architect and educator Kathleen Lucas, for young people aged 15 to 18 years.
