Following ten years of restoration, Qasr Al Hosn, also known as the White Fort, is the oldest and most significant building in Abu Dhabi, and has reopened to the public as a museum. It includes the city’s first permanent structure, a coral and sea stone watchtower - built to protect the settlement of Abu Dhabi and established on the island in the 1760s.

The tour will be led by Mark Kyffin, Head of Architecture at The Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi, and Gary Dicken, Head of Studio, BDP MENA.

There are up to 50 places for the tour, but please register early to avoid disappointment. The deadline for registration is Thursday 27 February 2020.

We look forward to seeing you there.
