As part of this virtual building visit series, the Sheffield Society of Architects are visiting practices via a ‘practice showcase’. This instalment is delivered by HLM Architects and provides a unique opportunity to learn more about their ethos, the motivation behind the way they work and what they strive towards. This virtual visit is open to everyone; architects, other built environment professional's, students, families, and friends.
About HLM Architects
In 1963, students David Hutchison, Graham Locke and Tony Monk (HLM) won a design competition for the new Paisley Civic Centre and this would lead to the formation of Hutchison Locke and Monk (now HLM Architects) in 1964.
Places of education that inspire, healthcare environments that nurture, homes that are part of thriving communities, and infrastructure that is sustainable in every sense. It is this sense of social purpose that drives them on and is at the heart of everything they do.
HLM Architect's services cover architecture, interior architecture, landscape architecture, masterplanning and environmental sustainability.
The event will be delivered virtually, via Microsoft Teams.
The Sheffield Society of Architects looks forward to welcoming you to what promises to be an enjoyable and intriguing practice showcase.
